{Why a prince? There are an infinite number of fun things to enjoy on land! She could've wanted to leave the waters like most merfolk of their time because it's thrilling to see all the new things! Didn't have to go for one person. Though... he wondered once or twice what he would've done is Jade went on land and Floyd had stayed behind. Only once or twice. He remembers both times hurting his head rather than finding an answer. Trying to imagine impossible things is weird. Doesn't recommend it. He'd always go with Jade if it was interesting. And he's never bored around his twin. So there's no feasible chance he would've stayed in the ocean. Wasted brain exercise.

More entertaining present. Would've been fun to keep Jade making faces with his fingers. Kinda tempting to stick a second one in on the other side and go stretchy stretchy pully pully. His twin's smiles almost never get as big as his own. Almost. But nah, he's got sharp white points poking into his finger's sides and a tongue wiping back and forth cross the tip. Is it a threat? [ One finger becomes two. Jade doesn't mind at all. The more the better, really. Within reason. Four might be excessive and Jade certainly doesn't want an entire hand in his mouth. Two fingers? Rather than answer any more questions, because he refuses to say anything more than what is needed now that he's had the faintest taste of his twin. [ Jade is always there to see peoples' reactions. Those are what feeds him. Fuels him. People being frightened, startled, or disturbed? Some of his favorites. Frustration ranks up there as well. Jade likes to be an observer, though also poking and prodding and seeing what happens for it. When you put him and Floyd together, it is a recipe for disaster because Floyd does so love reactions, but he likes being part of the action itself. They complement and complete each other in many different ways.

Though right now, Jade is thinking more about Floyd's reactions and how they are the direct result of Jade's actions themselves. The hunger and need that are in Jade's eyes can only be reflected in Floyd's own. There's that impish smile on his features, like a shark circling their prey. Waiting for the right opportunity to strike. Sharp. Dangerous. Thrilling. Yet Jade waits for the little tremors and shakes, knowing full well how to best please his brother.

Which means he also knows the best ways to edge him as well.

So when it looks like Jade is going to take in as much of Floyd's member as he can - possibly towards the back of the throat - he backs off instead. [It's not as fun to sit by and just watch people react. He likes getting in there and messing with them. His twin's the plotter and planner, machinations to earn those amusing reactions. The results are fun, but sometimes he gets bored having to wait and watch. He wants to push the boulder, then swim alongside it laughing.

[ If asked which one is better, Jade won't have an answer. To him, both versions have their merits. It's just a different sort of feeling, really. Sure, the internal equipment might be more sensitive over all, but it's not nearly as hard and girthy as the external counterpart. So both are nice. Different, but nice. And both of them react similarly enough when this sort of stimulation is provided. The only difference is that one is always wet and the other is only done through contact with saliva or other fluids.

What's he gonna do now? Jade's making it difficult to decide, and he only likes the choices for a little while. [ While Floyd had taken a more cavalier route of exploration, Jade had been more methodical. Meticulous. Experimental.
